Formerly known as Mirage, IMAGES was founded in 1997 and
is in a continually growing stage. IMAGES has a friendly, upscale atmosphere
with a large staff and on site security. In Year 2000, IMAGES became a highly
visible company known as the epitome of upscale within the entertainment
industry. We endeavor to service our GLBT & Gay-Friendly community, with
pride and establish merchant programs that will enable us to provide our
customers the opportunity to review what is happening within our community as a

has been involved in several community events and we have helped many
orginizations in the Chattanooga area. Here are the highlights...
a small but active team for the 3rd Annual Chattanooga Strides of March AIDS
walk. We raised about $2,200 and was crowned "Top Producing Independent Team".
IMAGES (MIRAGE) hosted the First Annual Mr. Chattanooga Gay Pride Pageant.
Darvin Roberts won the title. We again hosted a PRIDE pageant. This time it was
the Miss Chattanooga Gay Pride Pageant. Samantha LeBlonc gave up the crown to
Cynthia Van Pelt. That day IMAGES (MIRAGE) hosted the PRIDE FESTIVAL in its
parking lot. We did it in our parking lot because the PRIDE Committee did not
have the funds to go elsewhere.
formed a team for the 4th Annual Chattanooga Strides of March Aids Walk. This
time we took "Top Producing Corporate Team", "Most Spirited Team", and John
Blewett (co-owner) , won "Second Highest Producing Individual". His personal
prize was an autogrpahed Elton John AIDS Foundation Ball Cap. The IMAGES
(MIRAGE) Team collected over $3,400.We hosted the 2nd Annual Mr. Chattanooga Gay
Pride Pageant. Austin St. James won.
During the first half of 2000, we were closed working on the new IMAGES

"Top Producing Individual Team" and tied for "Most Spirited Team". We collected
over $4,600. IMAGES hosted the newly renamed Miss Tennessee Valley Pride
Pageant. Sydney Brooks won.

$6,500. JoDee McQuinn was crowned Miss Tennessee Valley Pride 2002 and IMAGES
again hosted the pageant. Zoe Heatherton was crowned Miss Knoxville Pride.
2003, John Blewett, co-owner, was elected to the Board of Directors of EQUALITY
TENNESSEE, a state wide organization for the betterment of LGBT people. Again,
Team IMAGES was formed and raised over $7,000 for the STRIDES OF MARCH AIDS
WALK. IMAGES also hosted the Miss Tennessee Valley Pride Pageant. Crystal Berlyn

holiday food drives for both NANCY'S HOUSE and THE HOME PLACE. For Christmas we
formed a very hard working Christmas Spirited Team, who stuffed over 40 huge
Christmas Baskets for residents of NANCYS HOUSE and THE HOME PLACE. Darvin and
John adopted a Chattanooga Cares Aids family for Christmas, which included
Christmas dinner and lots of gifts for the children.
2005The year started off with the Male Cast of IMAGES, headed up by Cabana Boy Rich, releasing their MEN OF IMAGES Calendar. Procedes went to benefit Nancy;s House. They raised over $200.00. IMAGES hosted
the First Annual Miss Hamilton County Charity Benefit, featuring Veronica Day,
Miss Hamilton County 2005 and emcee MIKE RICE. Over $1600 was raised for
Chattanooga Cares. IMAGES hoested the Miss Tennessee Valey Pride Pageant, won by
Persia Kyttyn. John was elected to the newly formed Tennessee Valley Pride
Board. Again our spirited Christmas Team produced over 60, even larger Christmas
baskets, for residents of NANCYS HOUSE and THE HOME PLACE.

successful Spring Fling, held at the Booker T. Washington State Park in April and the Fall Fling held at Camp Jordin in October. Jesse Link and Alyvia St. Claire won the Mr & Miss Tennessee Valley Pride titles, hosted at IMAGES. Again our spirted customers did the Christmas Baskets for Nancy's House.
2007IMAGES supported Jesse Link in his bid for the Mr EOY title. Again IMAGES supported Tevvessee Valley Pride for their Spring and Fall Flings held at Booker T. Washington State Park in May and October. Veronica Day, as Miss Gay Tennessee held her benefit Show helping Chattanooga Cares and raised over $800.00. In October, after 9 years, we changed our operating days, to our "Extended Weekend" Schedule, Thursday thru Sunday. Mr & Miss Tennessee Valley Pride titles were won by Ty Adams and Claire D'Shey. We dontated several food boxes of food the Nancy's House, during the Christmas season.
2008After 10 years of 18 and older, IMAGES became a 21 and older club, due to the Tennessee State Smoking Law. IMAGES was deeply involved in supporting Tennessee Valley Pride during the Pride Festival downtown in Miller Plaza. Kenny Cockran and Danielle DeLong won the Mr & Miss Tennessee Valley Pride titles. And again outstanding customers helped IMAGES collect many boxes of food for Nancy's House.
2009In February John Blewett was awarded Tennessee Valley Pride's Lester Childress "Della Reeves" Community Service Award. IMAGES hosted several Tennessee Valley Pride special guests this year which included Karen Mills and Janet Williams. For the second year IMAGES supported the Tennessee Valley Pride Festival downtown at Miller Plaza. The Mr & Miss Tennessee Valley Pride Pageant for 2009 was rescheduled for May 2010. Even with the bad economic situation, customers again helped IMAGES provide Nancy's House with many food boxes for their clients.
2010So far this year IMAGES held a benefit show, after the Tennessee Valley Party Skate Party in March and raised over $390.00 for Nancy's House.
